Growing Together: Expanding the Capacity to Serve

Behind Our House’s $16 Million Expansion Campaign

WRF grantee organization Our House has embarked on a $16 Million expansion campaign to serve more families in need in Arkansas. It is reportedly the biggest step forward in their organization’s history. Over the summer of 2022, Our House has started construction on their largest expansion project to date which will allow them to double their capacity to serve families, children and youth.

INCREASING CAPACITY

The new plans for expansion include an expanded family house, a 20,000 square foot Family Support Center, 14 new Family House units for 56 more residents, expanded space for existing programs, and so much more.

In the expanded Family House, the additional units will meet a growing need in the community to serve homeless families. The transitional units will be apartment style with shared kitchen and living space.

In the new Family Support Center, every family member – from adults to children – will have coordinated access to case management, education and training, counseling and primary care to address every barrier to exiting homelessness.
