OUR STRATEGY: AR EQUITY
The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation exists to relentlessly pursue equity—economic, educational, social, ethnic, and racial—for all Arkansans.
WRF supports organizations and leaders who work to expand access to opportunity so that every Arkansan can earn a living wage, pursue quality education, and create a future where their families thrive.
Close to 50% of Arkansas households are ALICE—Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, and Employed. These families contribute to their communities and the economy every day while navigating limited financial resources. The foundation provides long-term, flexible funding for movement building, community organizing, policy advocacy, and narrative change that expands opportunity for ALICE families.
Our investments strengthen community leadership, increase access to quality education, promote economic security, and help build a more equitable Arkansas.
